My Weight Loss Journey
Here is an updated picture (finally!) This is from my Vegas trip: I was 130 pounds before we left (about 70 pounds down total) but this was day 2 so I'd been to a couple of buffets already LOL. Pants are a size 5 (hooray for pilates!) and shirt is a medium. My sister Andrea, who joined WW about 4 months after I did, is now down 86 pounds! Her site is http://andreablog1.blogspot.com/.
My parents are also on WW - they joined a couple of months after my sister did. My dad is down about 45 pounds, and my mom just got her 50 pound medal.
WARNING: Weight Watchers is contagious :-)
Hopefully she puts some pictures up soon!!!

The picture on the left was taken just before Christmas 2005. The picture on the right is 67 pounds lighter on September 15th 2006.
It hasn't been easy, but what really kept me going was reading other WW alumni's success stories online, and especially seeing the amazing before and after pictures! I spent many nights searching for inspiration online, trying to distract myself from the leftover pizza in the fridge :-) So I thought I'd post my pictures to try to help anyone who's going through the same thing.
This picture is the best I could do for a 'before' picture! I knew when I started that I should take a picture of myself, but I just hated having my picture taken at the time! I gave my sister a lot of grief about taking this one for my grandmother's scrapbook. Plus, despite my New Year's resolution to stick with Weight Watchers until I reached goal, I was afraid that after having 2 kids I would never be thin again.
When I started Weight Watchers, I was at 200.2 pounds.

Christmas 2005 with hubby Rob, Dylan and baby TylerSo how did I get to this point? When I was in school, I was mostly within 5 pounds of my healthy weight range. I maintained my weight by being a workoutaholic! I worked out twice a day every day for at least 2 hours. I've never had proper eating habits. Eating fruit was kind of an annual event for me!
Once I moved in with my fast-food addicted boyfriend (now husband) in 2001, the weight started piling on. I struggled to keep it under 165 - now that I was working full-time I no longer had time for marathon workouts! I joined Weight Watchers twice, once right before I got pregnant with my first baby, and once when he was about a year old. Both times I quit after 4 weeks because I was STARVED! I refused to change WHAT I was eating, just how much I was eating. I lost about 5 pounds each time.
After baby number 2 I felt worse than I had my entire life. I initially lost about 25 pounds, but then Christmas hit and I started to put it back on. My eating was totally out of control and I felt completely depressed. I joined on New Year's Eve determined to stick with the program. I resolved to follow the program to a T and to change whatever I needed to in order to succeed!
Here I am in May 2005 as a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding. I was 6 weeks pregnant here, and pushing 180 lbs. The second I found out I was pregnant, I started eating everything in sight! What was I thinking???BTW, the little guy is my first son, Dylan. He looked so cute in his tux!

This lovely picture was taken without my knowledge two days after my due date (can you tell how happy I was to be overdue?). I was 220 pounds and feeling every ounce of it!!!
After having Tyler I lost 25 pounds on my own, then gained 5 back over Christmas.
My MIL took this one in February 2006. I was down 20 pounds (back to 180) and honestly couldn't feel the difference. It would take another 20 pounds before I would notice the weight loss!
This was a XXL shirt and a super stretchy size 18 pants.
Once I hit the 40 pound mark my body started to change quickly! All of a sudden I could fit into all of my prepregnancy clothes, and even some I hadn't worn for a couple of years! Here I'm wearing a Large shirt and size 14 shorts (hooray!! no more plus sizes!) This picture was taken on my birthday, May 31 2006. Three days later I got my 50 pound magnet!
Here I am with Tyler three weeks later down another 5 pounds. Total weight loss 55 pounds! I'm starting to feel really fantastic! Still in a Large shirt, but am now wearing size 9 shorts! And my goal is in sight! Only 10 pounds to go~

I'll post another picture when I reach 60 pounds. I'm hoping to reach goal by the end of July!
Here's a post-vacation picture. I gained a couple of pounds over vacation, which put me back to 60 pounds down. I forgot to take a picture of myself the first time I reached 60 pounds down, so here I am the second time around lol.
Just 5 more pounds to go!

Goal! This is 67 pounds down.
